I was very hesitant in seeking help. I had concerns that I would be told to implement a sleep training plan I didn't agree with. Margit was great! She doesn't use a one-size fits all approach. Margit is knowledgeable, supportive and caring. She helped my 10 m.o. son go from waking 5+ times a night to sleeping 8 straight hours on his own. My first two children didn't need a whole lot of help sleeping well but the tricks I used for them didn't help at all for my son. It's amazing what an improvement Margit's advice made for my son's sleep. Definitely recommend!

Doing sleep training for our ten months old was a big decision! We were reluctant about it but the increasing number of night wake-ups and declining sleep quality of both us and her eventually took us to start a search for a sleep consultant. Honestly If we had ever imagined that our little one would start sleeping through the night only in 4 days, we would not have waited that long. No doubt, Margit's mindful approach was a hit! She provided us not only a very well prepared sleeping plan but also gave us a big support by checking-in daily, listening to us patiently and answering our questions raised along the way. Margit’s plan cut out all the clutter from the internet / books I've read and kept me focused on a developmentally appropriate sleep schedule for my son. Working with a professional also kept us accountable. Prior to this, it was too easy to default to nursing my son to sleep or saying that I was too tired to help him learn to fall asleep on his own. Margit’s plan gave us the power to help my son. We are so grateful that we had the opportunity to work with Margit as our pediatric sleep consultant. Margit took the time to get to know us, which included previous successes and challenges surrounding sleep for our baby. During our conversations, Margit would share educational components that make-up healthy sleep and would even offer me extended reading on sleep topics that were new to me. I felt like Margit made our family part of the process. By the time I saw the sleep plan Margit had constructed for us, there were no surprises. Our plan was laid out in detail and Margit went over everything with us in depth. She also gave us the opportunity to work through any questions and talk about areas that were likely to cause us discomfort. When it was time to get started, we were eager and even excited! We were able to approach night one with calmness, positivity and confidence, which I know positively impacted our baby. For two weeks, we worked with Margit and followed her detailed plan with great success. Our baby was sleeping through the night before the end of week 1!

Like many others, I’m sure, I found Little Lantern out of desperation. My 1 year old daughter was waking up every 1.5-2 hours and was nursing essentially all night. I was so sleep deprived and drained that the concept of “risking” more sleep in order to establish a routine felt impossibly scary but I knew we had to try something! I was hesitant to spend the money and thought I could do this on my own but hindsight being what it is I’d have coughed up the cash a whole lot earlier!
Margit took the time to really understand my situation as a single parent and where we were starting from. She educated me on the science behind her plan for our sleep and she offered realistic expectations and encouragement which felt so much better than the “you got this momma” junk from the online accounts I had started following. The daily checkins felt like a safety net, if we had a bad night I knew there was an opportunity to discuss and course correct the next day. Best of all, with some relatively minor adjustments to existing nap and bedtime routine we are both getting sleep and lots of it!
